Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, December 16, 2025 — An independent audit has verified the physical gold reserves backing USDKG, a gold-backed stablecoin regulated by the Kyrgyz Republic. The audit confirmed the reserve quantity, chain of custody, and valuation, supporting the issuance of the first 50 million USDKG tokens.
The audit was conducted by Kreston Global , an accounting network, following ISRS 4400 standards. It included physical inspection, documentation checks, valuation analysis, contractual verification, and on-chain wallet control testing. The auditors confirmed 30 gold bars, totaling approximately 376 kilograms, stored in a secure vault.
The gold reserves were valued at 50.3 million U.S. dollars based on LBMA pricing as of November 28, 2025. The value exceeded the quantity of USDKG in circulation, indicating higher collateralization than typical asset-backed stablecoins.
The audit tracked the complete transfer path of the gold reserves. Documentation confirmed movement from the Ministry of Finance to a private reserve manager and then to a secure facility. Serial numbers, weight certificates, purity details, acceptance acts, and storage contracts were examined for consistency.
The audit confirmed the reserve quantity, chain of custody, and valuation, supporting the issuance of the first 50 million USDKG tokens.
Kreston also verified control of the official Ethereum and Tron smart contract wallets used for USDKG issuance. The auditors confirmed active control through on-chain transactions.
USDKG is denominated in U.S. dollars and built for global interoperability. It is supervised by the Kyrgyz Republic’s Ministry of Finance but operated independently by a licensed private entity, aligning with international best practices.
USDKG joins a category of commodity-backed stablecoins with verified reserves. The Kyrgyz Republic's regulatory framework supports this with clear legal structures for virtual assets. The audit enhances credibility with exchanges, institutional partners, and regulators.
