OpenAI is developing a Jobs Platform designed to connect businesses with individuals proficient in artificial intelligence. According to Fidji Simo, CEO of Applications at OpenAI, the platform will utilize AI technology to enhance the matching process between candidates and employers.
The tool aims to support not only large corporations but also small businesses and local governments seeking AI expertise. For instance, the Texas Association of Business plans to use the platform to link thousands of employers with individuals capable of modernizing their operations.
Development of the platform involves collaboration with partners such as Walmart, John Deere, Boston Consulting Group, Accenture, Indeed, and the Bay Area Council. Additionally, the governor’s office in Delaware is participating, illustrating the integration of state bodies into the project.
Alongside the hiring platform, OpenAI is introducing certifications for workers. These certifications will range from basic workplace skills to advanced competencies such as prompt engineering.
Training will be available directly within ChatGPT through a Study mode, allowing learners to prepare for and complete certification tests without exiting the application. OpenAI has indicated that businesses can integrate these qualifications into their staff training programs.
