Organizations should be aware of certain limitations associated with this role:
Administrators cannot access the Teams admin center portal and must perform management tasks via PowerShell commands . The role does not currently support assignment to Administrative Units.
Global administrators can assign this role using either the Microsoft Entra admin center or the Microsoft 365 admin center. No immediate action is required from administrators before the February rollout completion. However, it is advisable for organizations to update internal documentation and training materials to align with this new role.
