The AI Workflows feature is available exclusively to users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Initial rollout began with Targeted Release in late September 2025 and concluded by early October 2025. The global deployment started in late January 2026 and is anticipated to complete by mid-February 2026.
The feature supports Teams for Web and Mac platforms, and workflow templates leverage scheduled Copilot prompts to automate routine tasks. Users can access these templates directly from the Workflows app homepage in Teams, which offers various AI-powered automation options.

By setting the "Allow the use of additional optional connected experiences in Office" policy to Disabled, scheduled prompts in Microsoft 365 Copilot will also be disabled, allowing organizations to manage the feature per compliance and security requirements.
