British authorities have announced additional charges of rape and sexual assault against comedian Russell Brand . These new charges include one count of rape and one of sexual assault, involving two additional women. The alleged incidents occurred in 2009, according to the United Kingdom’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

Previously, Brand, aged 50, faced charges from April, including two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of indecent assault. These charges resulted from an 18-month investigation initiated after allegations were made by four women. The offences reportedly took place between 1999 and 2005, with one incident in Bournemouth and three in London. Brand pleaded not guilty to these charges in a London court.
