An email dated Tue, Jan 7, 2020, from a New York prosecutor indicates Trump flew on Epstein's jet eight times. This includes four instances where Ghislaine Maxwell, an Epstein associate, was also present. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for her role in Epstein's criminal activities.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) addressed these documents, stating they contain "untrue and sensationalist claims" about Trump. The DOJ emphasized that if the claims were credible, they would have already been used against him.
The Trump administration previously opposed releasing Epstein-related documents, leading to accusations of subverting legislation passed in Nov 2025. The latest release comprises approximately 8,000 files, including video and audio recordings as well as 30,000 pages of documents. Many names and details remain redacted, which includes some government officials' identities.

Approximately 70% believe the government is concealing information regarding Epstein’s connections with influential figures potentially involved in illegal activities.
Both Democratic and some Republican lawmakers are urging for the full release of Epstein-related materials. Republican Representative Thomas Massie accused Attorney General Pam Bondi of deliberately redacting and withholding files required for release under existing legislation.
