The UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, announced this development as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy prepared to present Ukraine's version of a 20-point plan. This plan is part of ongoing discussions following a 28-point proposal by the United States aimed at resolving the conflict.
During a meeting in London with leaders from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, Zelenskyy noted that the United States is open to compromise, although territorial issues remain unresolved. Following this meeting, additional support was expressed by leaders from Finland, Italy, Poland, Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and Turkiye.
Subsequent to the London meeting, Zelenskyy engaged with European Union and NATO leaders in Brussels and later met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
