The United Kingdom's media regulator, Ofcom, has initiated a formal investigation into the use of the AI chatbot Grok on the platform X, concerning the generation of deepfake sexualized images. Ofcom stated that such creations might constitute "intimate image abuse or pornography," and images depicting minors could be classified as "child sexual abuse material."
