DTCC & Canton: Institutional Validation
The DTCC is developing a tokenization infrastructure that includes minting U.S. Treasury securities on the Canton Network. This initiative will operate within regulatory constraints, enabling financial institutions to transact on-chain while maintaining control over data visibility. The pilot will cover Russell 1000 stocks, major ETFs, and key U.S. Treasury instruments, offering the same legal protections as traditional securities.
The Canton Network was chosen for its ability to meet these regulatory requirements, and its token holders may see significant revaluation as integration progresses. The bulk of this revaluation is anticipated with milestones in the latter half of 2026.
The platform is expected to begin its rollout in the second half of 2026.
Remittix: Addressing Current Market Needs
Remittix has developed a solution for the global payments market, which processes $19 trillion annually. By charging a 1% flat fee for cross-border transfers, Remittix offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional operators' 5–10% fees. The presale price is set at $0.13, with projections for mid-2026 between $0.35–$0.50.
Over $29.7 million has been raised, with major CEX listings confirmed. The iOS wallet has crossed 100,000 downloads, and the contracts have been audited by CertiK. Remittix builds on compliant, audited infrastructure from the outset.
DTCC's tokenization service, cleared by the SEC, will allow security entitlements to be recorded on pre-approved blockchains, with potential future iterations including stablecoin distributions. This development validates blockchain infrastructure and attracts institutional capital flows into utility-driven crypto assets.
