Marco Bezzecchi, starting second, initially took the lead from pole-sitter Fabio Quartararo. This allowed Fernandez and Pedro Acosta to move ahead of Quartararo, despite his record-breaking qualifying lap.
Bezzecchi later served a double long lap penalty due to a collision incident at the Indonesian Grand Prix. After serving the penalty, he managed to secure a third-place finish.
Fernandez's victory was a milestone for Aprilia, achieving their 300th Grand Prix victory, making them the most successful European manufacturer in the history of the sport.
Marco Bezzecchi, starting second, initially took the lead from pole-sitter Fabio Quartararo.
Fernandez capitalized on the opportunity presented by Bezzecchi's penalty and maintained a strong lead, ultimately winning the race.
