Venn is a proptech company that is setting out to improve the way that property managers connect with their residents. Founded in 2017 by Or Bokobza and Chen Avni, Venn sets out to handle all elements of the property management process. From leasing to onboarding, taking payments, communicating with tenants and renewals, managers are able to tackle everything in one place.

Its key platforms are its Resident Management Software (RMS) and Venn Intelligence, that work together to power the platform. The RMS collects the data, including every interaction between tenants and managers. Venn Intelligence then analyses it, predicting what residents need so managers can stay one step ahead of the game.

To date, Venn has raised a total of $140 million, with its latest $52 million Series B round led by and CIM Group.

Since it began, Venn has supported over 500,000 tenants and works with more than 270 residential real estate and property management companies.

One of Venn’s key factors is its intelligence platform, which doesn’t just manage properties, but is able to predict what tenants might need.

Whilst other property management software may help organise tasks, Venn analyses every interaction to help companies build loyalty, drive revenue and improve their personalisation.

It’s not just about automation, it’s about automation with a personal touch, able to be built at scale.

Is There A Market For Smart Property Management?

Definitely. In the UK alone, around 8.7 million people rent properties, with private renters making up over half of that. The property management sector is growing, and private tenants paying high rents are looking for more personalised services.

For property managers, scaling when systems are fragmented is difficult. With payments on one system, communications on another and revenue forecasting on a third, it becomes hard to keep track and even harder to scale.

Venn helps solve this by using AI to make property management more ‘customer centric’ by understanding and predicting what tenants might need. It allows property managers to access tools that support them and their tenants, whilst helping them stay one step head.
