According to a report by Check Point, Singapore has been ranked as the most cyber-resilient country as of January 2026. The study evaluated over 35 countries based on their ability to prevent and manage cyber threats. The assessment considered factors such as cybersecurity education, technological capabilities, and the workforce percentage in the cybersecurity sector.
Singapore achieved a perfect score of 20 in technical capability, national cybersecurity institutions, and cyber-related law. The country's significant investment in digital development was highlighted. Singapore's cybersecurity workforce is notable, with 1,329 professionals per 100,000 workers, emphasizing its strong job market in the field.
Finland ranked second, also scoring 20 in all cybersecurity categories, supported by its robust digital infrastructure and educated workforce. However, its cybersecurity workforce, at 889 professionals per 100,000 workers, was less than Singapore's. Estonia placed third, with 1,488 cybersecurity professionals per 100,000 workers, and scored highly in national cybersecurity strategies and law, though it scored 15.30/20 in technical capabilities.
Following Finland and Estonia, Denmark and the UK completed the top five, indicating Northern Europe's strong performance. Denmark's perfect category scores were offset by a workforce of 500 cybersecurity professionals per 100,000 workers. The UK, in fifth place, also scored well but had a lower workforce density.
